The 827 Microphone Preamp is a s single stage Transformer Balanced Op-amp driven Mic Pre.  It features:
- Custom wound High Nickel Input Transformer
- Custom wound Nickel/Steel Output Transformer
- 6 LED VU meter
- Stepped Gain Trim to allow the preamp to be driven into saturation
- 41 Detent gain potentiometer for easy recall
- 2520-foot print opamp for easy swapping
- Relay controlled 20 dB pad, Polarity and Mute
